We, at Field Notes Farm, are seeking to exchange a CSA share of produce for the creative works of local artists.
Proposals will be accepted through March 15.
Artists selected will be notified by April 6.
About Us:
We grow over 100 varieties of vegetables on 2 acres in Custer, Wisconsin, utilizing passive hoophouses and organic and biodynamic farming methods. We’ve been growing for the last 7 years, and we are jazzed for our 3rd season at Field Notes Farm! We’ve planted a variety of perennial fruits and berries. In addition, we continue planting a 5 acre cider apple orchard for hard/fresh cider production.
The CSA (Community Supported Agriculture):
Every week or every other week from June through November, our CSA members receive a share of vegetables. This season, we’ll be growing for 50 households, along with production for local farm markets, restaurants and local retail stores. We serve the Appleton, Stevens Point, and Amherst areas.
The Art-Share:
Art is awesome! Artists serve a critical role depicting the human experience in our community. We are looking for an artist to join us for the season, producing art that gives our members a new way to experience their farm, vegetables, and Community Supported Agriculture experience.
In exchange, we will provide the artist with a CSA share full of delicious vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
We are looking for an artist interested in projects in the following mediums:
